What Will We Leave Behind?

“You didn’t choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce fruit that will last, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name.” John 15:16. NLT

Sooner or later we are going to leave this world and move onward and upward if we have faith in Jesus. The bright future we have in Christ and His promises should cause us all to rejoice. Read the rest of this entry »

Check Out Time

“Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me, even though they die like everyone else, will live again.” John 11:25 NLT

Every hotel, motel, or resort has a check out time. Unless you are able to make special arrangements, you have to be checked out by this time in order to avoid paying another day’s rent.

We each have a check out time from life on this earth. This was set by God before we were ever born and whether we are allowed to check out early or live a long life, our times are in God’s hands. Read the rest of this entry »

What Will We Leave Behind?

Sooner or later we are going to leave this world and move onward and upward if we have faith in Jesus. The bright future we have in Christ and His promises should cause us all to rejoice.

We should all be striving to leave something behind. Instead of immediately thinking of possessions and to whom we will leave them, we need to think about leaving fruit that will last in a legacy of love. Read the rest of this entry »
