God’s Love is Real

“Whether we are high above the sky or in the deepest ocean, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:39 NLT

Knowing that God really loves us, that He is with us, and that He will see us through the worst of times so that we can appreciate and enjoy Him in the best of times will give us the strength and joy we need to carry us through.

It is impossible to fully comprehend or try to put God’s love in a container, since there’s nothing big enough to contain it.

He pours it out through the heavens and earth that declare His glory.

He reveals it through His Word and through His living Word, Jesus Christ. We experience God’s love through the love and kindness of others.

God’s love provides and sustains us. His love comforts and encourages us when we need it, and disciplines us when we deserve it.

God not only loved us enough to send Jesus to die for us, but He loves enough to send the Holy Spirit to live in us and transform us into the image of Christ. God’s love is available to all who will receive it by believing in Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior and allowing the Holy Spirit to fill them with God’s love and the desire to share God’s love with others.

We should never let any circumstance or satanic power cause us to doubt God’s unconditional love. We should never let anything keep us from loving God with all our hearts.

Father, thank you for the blessed assurance of Your love and Your working all things for my good. In Jesus’ name,Amen

My Love

There is a silence into which the world cannot intrude. There is an ancient peace you carry in your heart and have not lost. There is a love you have missed for so long and will always come back to.

It is called the love of God. That is the hole in your heart that nothing can replace. That IS the yearning you feel. Come back, says the Lord, for I am waiting for you with open arms. Come back, I am here for you for all of eternity. Come back. Nothing shall separate you from My love–NOTHING. Come back I am waiting for you with open arms.

Today’s devotional is not actually a devotional but a song that was passed on to me by a dear friend who’s sermon was an inspiration to many during this past Sunday’s church gathering.
