Watch Out for Those Propensities
“But remember that the temptations that come into your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will keep the temptation from becoming so strong that you can’t stand up against it. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you will not give in to it. 1 Corinthians 10:13 NLT
“For I have kept the ways of the LORD; I have not turned from my God to follow evil.” Psalm 18:21 NLT

There is a very profound but often overlooked significance in the above passage that I believe to be true. (Although Scripture does not specifically detail this, I know of no Scripture that contradicts it.)
The presence of God was manifested in a cloud by day and pillar of fire by night. Read the rest of this devotional »

MECOMP
You’re blessed when you can show people how to cooperate instead of compete or fight. That’s when you discover who you really are, and your place in God’s family” Matthew 5:9 MSG
Competition is what makes our economic, relational, and vocational lives thrive. Every successful endeavor seeks to meet and beat the competition. Read the rest of this devotional »
